Tim Stauffer pitched seven innings of two-run ball and struck out nine in a win over the Braves on Friday. Stauffer, who was on the wrong side of 2-0 and 1-0 games his last two times out, finally got some run support tonight in the Padres' 11-2 victory. It was just his third win in 16 starts this season. Of course, with his 3.09 ERA, he deserves quite a bit better.
