Tim Stauffer (elbow) threw live batting practice for the first time Monday in spring training. Stauffer reportedly "felt fine" and didn't report any setbacks. The 30-year-old right-hander is expected regain his spot in the Padres' rotation when healthy, but may not be ready for the start of the season.
