Tim Stauffer (elbow) allowed four runs in two innings of work Sunday against the Cubs. Stauffer is progressing nicely from August surgery to repair a flexor tendon in his right elbow and has appeared in three games so far this spring. At this point, He still seems doubtful to be ready for Opening Day, but should regain his spot in the Padres' rotation when healthy.
