Tim Hudson pitched seven innings of one-run ball to beat the Giants on Sunday night. Hudson was very sharp tonight, getting 21 outs with just 82 pitches. He never allowed an extra-base hit, and he retired eight in a row before finally giving up a run in the seventh. He improved to 7-0 in his last 10 starts and 13-4 with a 3.57 ERA for the season.
