Tim Hudson pitched brilliantly in Friday's win over the Astros, allowing just one unearned run on four hits and two walks over 7 1/3 scoreless innings. Hudson struck out three in the game. All four hits that he did surrender were singles, and the Astros were never able to mount a serious threat against him. The one run that did come across scored on an RBI groundout from J.D. Martinez in the sixth inning after Ben Francisco had advanced on an error. Hudson will take an impressive 11-4 record and 3.45 ERA into Wednesday's matchup against the Phillies in Philadelphia.
