Tim Hudson gave up a four spot in the first inning Monday but gutted it out for six frames, allowing four runs on seven hits and four walks in a loss to the Nationals. Hudson certainly deserves credit for bowing his neck and keeping the Braves in the game. It's his third non-quality start in his last five tries, though he didn't give up any runs in the other two outings. He'll take a solid 3.69 ERA and 1.22 WHIP into San Francisco this weekend.
