Tim Hudson (ankle) said he expects to be "totally healed" by December. Hudson underwent ankle surgery in late July and will miss the rest of the season. The 38-year-old right-hander will likely have to settle for a one-year incentive-laden deal in free agency, but should be fully healthy for spring training in 2014.
