Tim Byrdak wrote on his Twitter account Monday that he will have surgeries September 5 for a torn anterior capsule in his left shoulder and a meniscus issue with his right knee. As Byrdak wrote on his Twitter account, "Holy painkillers Batman!" The 38-year-old southpaw plans to continue his career, but he has a lengthy rehab ahead of him. Don't look for him until the second half of 2013, at the earliest.
