Tim Byrdak (knee) threw a bullpen session Thursday for a second straight day. Byrdak is holding out hope for be ready for Opening Day, despite undergoing knee surgery two weeks ago, but he's more likely to return after the first series of the season. Danny Herrera could make the Opening Day roster if he needs more time.
