Tim Byrdak is currently nursing a left knee injury. The Mets haven't said how long it will sideline the left-hander, but the ailment doesn't seem to be anything significant. Byrdak posted a 3.82 ERA and 47/19 K/BB ratio over 37 2/3 innings last season and is expected to open this year as the team's lone left-handed reliever.
