Chicago White Sox shortstop Tim Anderson is out of the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against the Kansas City Royals. This appears to be a routine rest day for the 29-year-old infielder. Anderson was banged up to begin the season, but appears to be getting back into a groove. Elvis Andrus will cover shortstop while Lenyn Sosa plays second base against right-hander Jordan Lyles on Tuesday. The expectation is that Anderson will return to the lineup after his rest day here.
