Tillman has been named the Orioles' starter for Game 1 of the ALDS, Brittany Ghiroli of MLB.com reports. Although it was little more than a formality, manager Buck Showalter confirmed that Tillman, who has gone 13-5 with a 3.26 ERA and 1.21 WHIP across 201.1 innings this season, will start the Oct. 2 ALDS opener for Baltimore. Tillman will still start Friday against Toronto, as scheduled.
