Tillman and the Orioles avoided arbitration by agreeing to a one-year, $4.315 million deal Friday, CBS Sports' Jon Heyman reports. Although he has a history of allowing too many home runs, Tillman showed significant progress on that front toward the end of the 2014 season, allowing just 0.7 home runs per nine innings in his final 21 starts. That number helped push his ERA down to 2.38 over that same span. If he can maintain that momentum heading into 2015, a season where he figures to serve as Baltimore's top man in the rotation, he could have his best fantasy season yet.
