Tigers outfield prospect Steven Moya went 3-for-7 with a double and two home runs for Double-A Erie on Friday. Moya is hitting .265/.287/.543 with 23 doubles, two triples, and 20 home runs for the season. His power is legit, but he has an overly-aggressive approach at the plate, and fails to make consistent contact, as is shown by his 94 strikeouts in 328 plate appearances (28.7 percent) and his nine walks (2.7 percent) for the season. He is currently leading the Double-A Eastern League in home runs, and could be in line for a promotion to Triple-A Toledo.
