Tigers optioned OF Matt Young to Triple-A Toledo. The Tigers also sent Casey Crosby to the minors and will call up Thad Weber and activate Doug Fister from the disabled list on Saturday. Young went 1-for-10 with a double and an RBI during his brief stint with the big club.
