Tigers general manager Dave Dombrowski said earlier this week that Joel Hanrahan (elbow) has "made progress, but I can't also say that he's close." Hanrahan is throwing bullpen sessions, but Dombromski said there's no timetable for when the reliever will face hitters and eventually go out on a rehabilitation assignment. "I really don't know what's going to happen with his situation," Dombrowski said. "He's throwing. He'll throw bullpens again this week, but I don't know if he's going to take off from here or I don't know if he'll stagnate from here. I don't really know."
