Thursday's game between the Giants and Reds has been postponed due to rain in southwest Ohio. The game was supposed to begin at 1:10 p.m. ET but the showers wouldn't quit at Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati. No makeup date has been announced. Mike Leake was scheduled to pitch for the Reds and Matt Cain was supposed to take the bump for the Giants. The teams will simply push those starters back to Friday.
