Gonzalez threw the equivalent of two innings Tuesday, Scott Merkin of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gonzalez threw for the first time in a White Sox uniform. He was shut down during spring training with shoulder discomfort, then was about to pitch when the pandemic halted play. The left-hander underwent continued physical therapy during the shutdown and reports feeling 100 percent. Gonzalez was penciled in as the team's fifth starter back in March, but the White Sox could make adjustments with the pending returns of Carlos Rodon (elbow) and Michael Kopech (elbow).
