Maton (elbow) threw off a mound Saturday, Chandler Rome of The Athletic reports.

Maton has been out for a week after taking a comebacker off his right elbow. He avoided structural damage and is already ramping up again, however, so he doesn't appear to be set for a long absence. He's eligible to return Aug. 27.
