Wilson (shoulder) threw to live hitters Tuesday and is on track to return from the injured list this weekend, Max Goodman of Sports Illustrated reports.

The throwing session went well, according to manager Aaron Boone, increasing the likelihood that the left-hander will return from the IL when eligible this Friday. Wilson has been throwing for over a week after being shut down with shoulder tightness near the end of spring training.
