Eovaldi (shoulder) threw a bullpen session Friday, Chris Cotillo of The Springfield Republican reports.

Manager Alex Cora said Friday that Eovaldi wasn't progressing as quickly as hoped, but it was encouraging that the right-hander was able to throw off a mound Friday. He's expected to throw another bullpen session Monday, so it seems possible that he'll be able to return prior to the end of the regular season.
