Olson (shoulder) allowed one hit and one walk while striking out one across two scoreless innings in a rehab outing with Triple-A Toledo on Thursday, Chris McCosky of The Detroit News reports.

This marked Olson's first game activity since landing on the injured list July 21 and he ramped up to 39 pitches, 24 of which went for strikes. He averaged 94 mph on his fastball -- in line with his norms for the season -- and threw all of his pitches. Olson will still require a couple more rehab assignments, but a return in late September appears realistic.
