The Royals have had internal discussions about Brett Anderson possibly filling one of their rotation spots, ESPN's Buster Olney is hearing. It seems as though Anderson isn't in the Athletics' rotation plans going forward, and the A's may be open to dealing the southpaw. Anderson has been injury-plagued in his five years in the majors, making just 11 starts over the past two seasons. Last year Anderson had a 6.04 ERA in 44 2/3 innings, almost half of which came in relief. Still just 25, Anderson could be a nice option for a team willing to take a chance.
