The Rockies are considering placing Carlos Gonzalez on the disabled list due to his sprained right middle finger. The club to this point has been resistant to putting CarGo on the DL with the belief that the injury isn't going to get worse. On Tuesday, though, manager Walt Weiss admitted that some extended rest might do the outfielder some good. "They say it may not be much better," Weiss said. "It maybe gives it an opportunity to calm down a little bit, anyway." The skipper added that a decision on CarGo will be made "here shortly."
