The Reds traded Heisey to the Dodgers on Tuesday, Jerry Crasnick of ESPN.com reports. Right-handed pitcher Matt Magill will go to Cincinnati in the deal, per Jon Heyman of CBSSports.com. Heisey wore out his welcome with the Reds by batting just .222/.265/.378 in 119 games (299 PA) last season. While this move just seems to further crowd the Dodgers' outfield situation, it is likely a precursor to other moves, though it still seems unlikely Heisey will serve as anything more than a reserve with his new club.
