The Reds declined to tender Partch a contract, C. Trent Rosecrans of the Cincinnati Enquirer reports. Partch turned in seven scoreless innings with the big club last season but struggled in 41 appearances with Triple-A Louisville, posting a 4.75 ERA and 54:25 K:BB over 47.1 frames. The fresh start with another club may prove beneficial to Partch, who spent eight years toiling in the Reds' system.
