The Reds are hoping Mat Latos (knee) will be ready to rejoin the rotation on April 13 or 14. Latos' surgically-repaired knee and elbow are feeling good, but he still needs to build up innings before being cleared for major league action. Alfredo Simon is serving as the club's fifth starter for now, but with off days he'll only need to make one start before April 13-14.
