The Rays have signed Kelly Johnson to a one-year contract, according to FOX Sports' Ken Rosenthal. Johnson posted an ugly .255/.313/.365 batting line over 581 plate appearances last season for the Blue Jays, but he has a powerful swing and is capable of offering high-level fantasy production when everything is clicking. He will likely start at second base in 2013 for Tampa Bay, allowing Ben Zobrist to play primarily in right field.
