The Rays confirmed Monday that Robertson (hand) has a fractured hamate bone in his right hand, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports. The top shortstop prospect will undergo surgery Tuesday, and the expectation is that Robertson will be able to return at some point later this season. Robertson is hitting .272/.347/.436 in 49 games at Double-A Montgomery this season after tearing it up at High-A Stockton in 2014 to the tune of a .310/.402/.471 slash line.
