The Pirates haven't decided whether Taillon will be under an innings limit in 2016. "We're going to treat him like any other pitcher," trainer Todd Tomczyk told the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review. "We will monitor his recovery on a daily basis throughout the year to see if an innings threshold needs to be done or not."

Pittsburgh will be careful with Taillon, who last pitched in a professional game Sept. 1, 2013 for Triple-A Indianapolis. The righty got off to a strong start Tuesday, allowing just one run in six innings, striking out six without walking a batter.
