The Pirates have not given Taillon, who threw six innings in his first outing since June 29 on Tuesday, a specific innings count for the remainder of the season, CBS Radio in Pittsburgh reports.
EDGE Analysis
Speaking on the Pirates postgame show, Taillon, said the goal is for him to complete the entire season -- rather than pitching to an innings limit before shutting things down. He's thrown 95.2 innings between Triple-A and Pittsburgh in 2016 after missing both 2014 and 2015. As a result, the promising righty will likely continue getting extended breaks in between starts.
