The Orioles are expected to recall left-hander T.J. McFarland from Triple-A Norfolk. Brian Matusz and Zach Britton have each worked on back-to-back days, so McFarland will give Orioles manager Buck Showalter another left-hander out of the bullpen. The 24-year-old had a 4.22 ERA and 58/28 K/BB ratio over 74 2/3 innings with the big club last season.
