The Nationals are giving Yunel Escobar some work at third base, the Washington Post reports. Escobar was brought in to be the club's second baseman, but Anthony Rendon's knee injury changes the Nats' infield picture considerably. If the club is comfortable with Escobar at third to begin the season, it could open the door for Uggla to be the starting second baseman, although Danny Espinosa is also still part of the equation.
