The MRI results revealed that Cain (forearm) suffered a strained flexor and will likely be placed on the disabled list, CSN Bay Area's Alex Pavlovic reports. Cain seems to have dodged a bullet as forearm tightness usually is the result of a UCL tear. Still, this isn't the start to the bounce back season Cain was hoping for. He was already ruled out for his scheduled start Wednesday, and it looks like he will miss a couple more turns in the rotation before officially making his 2015 debut.
