The Mets will wait until Sunday to decide whether Justin Turner (calf) will open the season on the disabled list. Turner hasn't played since leaving Wednesday's game with a strained left calf. If he's ruled out for Opening Day, the Mets are expected to backdate his stint on the DL. "We need to have [him] work out tomorrow," manager Terry Collins said. "He's going to come in and see the trainers anyway. And then we'll make a decision after he goes through the workout."
