The Marlins have hired Chuck Hernandez as their new pitching coach. Hernandez was the Tigers pitching coach from 2008-2009 and previously worked for the Rays and Angels. He most recently was the pitching coach at the University of South Florida. The Marlins also officially announced the hiring of Tino Martinez as hitting coach, Rob Leary as bench coach, Joe Espada as third base coach, Perry Hill as first base coach and Reid Cornelius as bullpen coach.
