The Mariners are expected to option Alex Liddi to Triple-A Tacoma on Wednesday. Liddi has really struggled recently, collecting just two hits in his last 27 at-bats while striking out 17 times. The 23-year-old is hitting just .231 with three homers and a .655 OPS over 114 plate appearances this year.
