The health of DeGrom's (back) son, Jaxon, has improved slightly and deGrom was to throw a 40-pitch bullpen session Sunday, Adam Rubin of ESPN New York reports.

It's great news to hear that his son is doing better, but there is no timeframe for deGrom to return.
