The Giants plan to activate Marco Scutaro (back) from the disabled list on Saturday. There was a prevailing thought that he would rejoin the team on Friday, but it looks as though he needed an extra day. Expect him to rejoin the Giants starting lineup and make his season debut on Saturday.
