The Giants are optimistic that Jeremy Affeldt (knee) will be ready to return from the disabled list when he's eligible Sunday. Affeldt has been sidelined since spraining his right knee in a freak accident in late April. The 32-year-old southpaw has a 4.09 ERA and 10/4 K/BB ratio in 11 innings this year.
