The Giants are concerned that Jonathan Sanchez's left ankle injury might keep him from returning this season. Manager Bruce Bochy said the ankle simply isn't getting any better even though Sanchez suffered the ailment nearly two weeks ago. "The way it's going, it's going to be a race between he and Buster (Posey)," Bochy joked. It's obviously bad news for the Giants, but with Eric Surkamp's encouraging debut Saturday and Barry Zito (ankle) getting healthier, they should be OK.
