The Diamondbacks will give Patrick Corbin some extra rest around the All-Star break. Corbin is slated to pitch on Friday and will then be slotted in as the fourth or fifth starter coming out of the break, regardless of whether he pitches in the All-Star game or not. The lefty is currently on pace to pitch 214 2/3 innings. "We'll do that, regardless (of whether Corbin pitches in the All-Star Game)," manager Kirk Gibson said. "He's at 115-plus innings right now, so he needs a little break."
