The Cardinals don't think the pinched nerve in Matt Holliday's neck will be a long-term issue. Holliday missed a second straight start Wednesday and is unable to rotate his head to face the pitcher. However, he's feeling a bit better and could possibly be available off the bench. Allen Craig is handling left field Wednesday.
