The Boston Globe's Nick Cafardo writes that the Red Sox are "still in" on free agent Cody Ross. The Red Sox haven't ruled out bringing back Ross, but it's hard to see where he fits with Shane Victorino and Jonny Gomes signed this offseason. One American League GM said Boston, "may be trying to deal Jacoby Ellsbury and then sign Ross after the move Victorino to center." Ross, 31, has received interest from the Phillies, Mets, Braves, Mariners, and Yankees, but isn't believed to be close to signing. He's seeking a three-year deal in free agency.
