The Boston Globe's Nick Cafardo lists the Twins, Astros and Red Sox as clubs that have interest in Mike Carp. The Mariners have until Thursday to trade Carp, who was designated for assignment last week. The Brewers might make sense as a destination, as well, following Mat Gamel's injury. Carp batted just .213/.312/.341 over an injury-plagued 2012 season, but he's shown promise in the minors and in spurts at the big league level.
