The Blue Jays have discussed moving Sanchez back to the bullpen, Sportsnet's Shi Davidi reports. The book on Sanchez hasn't changed much, as he still has trouble controlling his mid-to-high 90s heat. It doesn't sound as if any kind of change is imminent, but should the young right-hander continue to struggle, he'll likely find himself back in the bullpen. Such a development might actually be a good thing for owners, given that Sanchez would be a potential ninth-inning candidate in a bullpen that's still trying to figure out roles. He was expected by some to open this season as the Jays' closer, until Marcus Stroman's season-ending torn ACL left a gap in the rotation. The Blue Jays still don't have strong alternatives for the starting rotation, but it can't get too much worse than what we've seen from Sanchez thus far.
