The Baltimore Sun's Jeff Zrebiec believes Chris Davis' Friday benching is "more of an injury situation than a disclipinary thing." The Orioles have vaguely described his absence from the lineup as a "manager's decision," but it indeed appears to be related to his aching right shoulder. We won't know for sure, however, until manager Buck Showalter decides to issue a more lengthy explanation.
