The Athletics are expected to recall Daric Barton from Triple-A Sacramento. With Josh Reddick (wrist) likely heading to the disabled list, Barton will be added to the active roster. The 28-year-old is batting .297/.424/.431 with seven home runs and 69 RBI at the Triple-A level and will provide corner infield depth.
