The Astros will platoon Scott Moore and Matt Downs at first base following the departure of Carlos Lee. Both players aren't regulars at the position, but it should serve as an upgrade offensively, while allowing Chris Johnson to move to third base. Downs will be in the lineup against left-handed pitching, as he was Friday against Madison Bumgarner.
