The Astros don't have a timetable for Robbie Grossman's (oblique) return. Grossman suffered the injury during an at-bat last Tuesday and hasn't played since. "He's starting to increase his activity each and every day," said Porter, "but again you're talking oblique. Is he going to be able to swing pain-free? That remains to be seen." Trevor Crowe, the biggest beneficiary of Grossman's bad luck, has started nine games since rejoining the team on Aug. 31, batting .364 with five RBI. NL-only owners in need of a stopgap could do worse than adding Crowe until Grossman returns.
